TALIA ROWLEY

Founder & Chief Writer

Talia Rowley is an award-winning actor, voice-over artist and writer.

Under her belt, Talia has a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Screen from Brisbane’s Griffith University, a Diploma of Screen Acting from Sydney's leading Film and Television School, Screenwise, and has additionally spent time studying the craft of writing at the University of Melbourne.

Her passion for performance and scriptwriting found its way into the classroom when she became an acting teacher for the then Australian School of Performing Arts, Film and Television (ASPAFTV).

Throughout the duration of her time at ASPAFTV, Talia wrote hundreds of scripts for young people to utilise in the classroom, on screen and on stage. This included 18 original stage productions, both written and directed by Talia, a number of which debuted at the renowned Queensland Performing Arts Centre, Brisbane.

Her writing credits also extend to the Dear John Film and Theatre Company’s independent feature-length film PERFECT, IMPERFECT (2017) and the short film SCREAMING SILENCE (2014).

Talia was excited to have more recently written and directed a travelling theatre piece for kids, performed throughout Myer Sydney City as part of their entertainment and events program. The performance was a first for the department store, and delighted both children and parents alike.
